Here is the original image that I began with. My good friend Diane posted this with the single caption, "LIFE!!!" This inspired me. See below.

So I isolated the background trees and added motion blur, added a beach bypass effect to the subjects, added a layer mask and tweaked the exposure settings in camera raw filter and then painted away the layer to expose the boosted colors on their glasses and Diane's ring.

3-D Picture Frame Effect
Here I took a picture of my son Connor and created an illusion of him seemingly standing up out of the original picture. Not the shadow on the picture edge and his shadow cast upon the picture itself. See the original below...
